Welcome to Romney Marsh Gifts - Towns and Villages of the Marsh. This is an on line guide to all the towns, villages and hamlets on the marsh and some nearby. Each village/town will also show details for any attractions, pubs or other items of interest for the village. I have also included, where appropriate, my recomendations for food and drink establishments, these are my personal favourites and may not appeal to everyone.

From 11 June Southern Railway will be re-instating a 7 day a week, all day hourly train service to Appledore. With the existing half hourly peak hour service, the stopping of the all day Brighton to Ashford International trains at Appledore will give probably the best service ever provided.
